Blissful LivingBy NOPYou all know it, you all love it. Two boys growing up in a different way. "Robert, Tim, and Darlene." I stated, "I'll be back by tomorrow." I turned and headed into the house without knocking. I heard him pull away and couldn't contain myself any longer, "ROBBIE!" I called waiting for his answer in the "Marco...Polo" way. His call came form downstairs, so I headed down quickly. He was sitting on the couch watching Darlene apply Tim's eyeliner. He looked really good wearing a translucent red shirt over his fish nets, and with tight velvet bondage pants (that he made in Home Econ.). His hair, like mine, was wet from the shower the brown strands clumped together in front of his eyes. He hadn't put on make up, yet. I stood and stared at him, my mouth slowly forming into an open smile. I caught his yellow tinted green eyes, staring back with much the same expression. Quickly I dropped my eyes and broke the silence, "How is every one?" I glanced around the room. The other two were oblivious to the stares. "Great, if she would stop poking me in the eye." Tim complained squinting as she tried again. "Well, if you would do it correctly the first time, I wouldn't have to fix it." Darlene defended. "Have a seat." Robbie patted the cushion next to him. My heart nearly skipped a beat. I wanted to crawl over there and sit in his lap and be held by him. I knew I couldn't in front of Tim and Darlene, they just wouldn't do well with that. I gave in and sat next to him. "Can I get you anything?" He asked looking at me through the corner of his eye. Tim started to giggle causing Darlene to poke him in the eye again. "Ow." "What's so funny." Darlene pulled back and crossed her arms. "Just the way he said that, almost seemed like he was offering a sexual favor." He said through many laughs. I turned red but joined into the laugh that was had by all. "How about it?" He asked again, "Need anything?" he casually laughed sitting back. "Sure 'something' would be great." I arched an eyebrow. He stood up and I fallowed him up the stairs. He opened the fridge and started to sound off items of potential interest. When I didn't answer he looked back over his shoulder and wore a questioning look on his face, "What? Cat got your tongue, or are you just not interested in what I have to offer?" He shut the fridge and stepped back into the corner of the cabinets, opening a pop and awaiting my answer. "No cat has my tongue, yet, and nothing has interested me, so far." I stepped close enough to reach out and touch him with my finger tips, but I held back. "Maybe you haven't made the right offer." "I'm not quite sure I can supply anything else." He nodded his head to infer the people downstairs, where another yelp could be heard. "They're busy, now, and I don't want to wait till later, I'm 'hungry' now." I stamped my foot impatiently. "Did I mention how 'hot' you look right now?" I stared into his perfect eyes and inched closer, listening intensely for sounds coming up the stairs. I reached up and touched his face, "You don't even need make up." I smirked. I stepped closer, still, and let my cheek touch his lightly, my breath fell softly on his ear in a whisper, "Tell me Robert, what are the plans for the night?" "Stop it." He smiled, lowering his eyes. I pulled back slightly and lightly brushed his lips with mine. "Stop what?" I could feel his pulse quicken, with my hands on his neck, and soon he hungrily leaned towards me for the kiss. I let go of his neck and left him alone in the kitchen, teased and tortured. "That'll teach him to ignore me." I thought, hearing him sigh as I walked away. I returned to the downstairs room where Darlene was finally finished with both of Tim's eyes. Although, he looked a little teary and was cupping his right eye protectively. She was now looking into the mirror, touching up her lines. "Find anything?" Darlene asked never taking her eyes off the glass. "No, nothing good up there." I said as Robbie entered the room, a disappointed look on his face. He sat next to me a pop in hand. Robbie put the pop down on the table and picked up a bag from. Carefully, he applied his make up. Could he be prettier? By the time he was done I had my answer. He always went all out for concerts, not always for school and people watching, but always for concerts. "What shade is that?" He asked pointing to my lips. "'Dead Violets', want some?" I offered, realizing that some of it was already on his lips. I pulled it out and handed it to him. "It's your color." I stated, "Everything works on you." Thankfully, the others weren't paying full attention. "Thanks. I'll give it a try." He smiled, cutely applying it to his pouting lips. It looked more than good on him, it looked delicious. It made me regret not fully kissing him when I had the chance. | |||||||
